In the 1980s, Snap-On, the Milwaukee-based tool manufacturer founded in 1920, sponsored some race car drivers. Their biggest driver was Bill Elliot, the stock car driver. In 1987, Elliot won the Daytona 500. The following year, heĀ would win the entire Winston Cup.
