1991 was Slayer's ten year annivesary. And in that initial ten year span, the band had released five classic and revolutionary albums, including 1986'sĀ monumentalĀ Reign In Blood.Ā Still after years of touring and writing, they were not content to slow down. And so the bandĀ releasedĀ a double live albumĀ entitledĀ Decade Of Aggression and went out on a UK tour. The band continued on for another two decades beforeĀ ultimately disbanding in 2019.Ā DuringĀ their time together, the California-based thrash group changedĀ theĀ shape of heavy metal, and most of that heavy lifting was done in those early years.Ā This original Slayer tour shirt, with paint marks and fading in great condition,Ā is from a UK tour celebrating their first decade together.Ā
