Formed in London, England in 1976 by Siouxsie Sioux and Steven Severin, Siouxsie And The Banshees were a punk band that transcended the punk scene. They had both chart-topping records and critical praise. Their influence on post-punk is still heard to this day. Siouxsie, who was always known for her provocative dress and punk style, also performed with the band The Creatures featuring Banshees drummer Budgie. They released four albums during their tenure.
