Vintage Poison Idea "Get Loaded And Fuck" T-Shirt
Poison Idea were a hardcore band from Portland, OR founded in 1980. They helped shape the early USHC landscape with the release of their debut 7", 1983'sĀ Pick Your King, and served as an antagonistic and aggressiveĀ part of the scene for much longer.Ā By 1989, the scene was substantially different. Many of the original bands had broken up and scenes had changed and moved on, but Poison Idea had released handful of EPs, many of which included old demos released on their own label American Leather, as well as two LPs and were gearing up for third, 1990's Feel The Darkness. The band broke up and reformed with various lineup changes led by singer Jerry A, even continuing on past the death of their guitaristĀ Pig Champion, although they have been largely inactive in recent years. This original Poison Idea shirt, in excellent condition, is from the band's 1989 Get Loaded And Fucked tour.Ā
