Vintage Obituary "Slowly We Rot" Raglan Sweatshirt
Obituary, the Tampa, FL-based death metal band, released their debutĀ Slowly We Rot in 1989. They had formed only five years prior. Despite their new status, the album's release was handled by Roadrunner. Up until that point, they had released demos as well as an appearance onĀ theĀ Raging Death compilation. But with the release ofĀ Slowly We Rot, Obituary cemented themselves as the one of the premier death metal groups in the entire country, and they started it all with a standard-tuned Stratocaster. The band has continued on to this day, despite a short break around the turn of the century.
