Megadeth are a Grammy-winning, Los Angeles-based thrash metal band founded in 1983 by Dave Mustaine after he was kicked out of Metallica. They released their sophomore album Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? in 1986 on Capitol Records. The band was originally signed to Combat but were picked up by the major after the album was already recorded. Capitol in turn hired producer Paul Lani to re-mix what was sent to them which then became the record that we all know today. Peace Sells quickly became a heavy metal masterpiece, regarded by fans and critics alike as a classic. This original Megadeth shirt, nicely worn and faded, is from their in support of Peace Sells from 1987 to 1988.
