Originally known as Raw Deal, Killing Time were a staple band of the late 80s NYHC scene. They smashed CBGBs up regularly, playing hard and angry music that made moshers mosh and divers dive. They released their debut albumĀ Brightside on In Effect in 1989. The album would go on to be considered a classic. The band recorded a follow up, 1997'sĀ The Method which largely flopped. After many years of inactivity, the band got back together in the early 00s and has stayed playing since, even recording another record. This original Killing Time shirt from 1996, in excellent condition, is from the band's first run.Ā
