Huey Lewis And The News are a rock band from the Bay Area in California founded in 1979. They became a household name with the release of Sports, their 1983 album released by Chrysalis. The record has been certified seven-times Platinum. The band has continued on since then, being nominated for an Academy Award and selling tens of millions of records.
