Guns N' Roses are a rock band from Los Angeles, CA founded in 1985. The band, which has always been fronted by Axl Rose with a somewhat revolving backup band, become one of the most popular bands of the decade, one of the last real rockstars groups. They released their debut, Appetite For Destruction, in 1987. It has since sold 30 million copies worldwide. It featured Slash's amazing guitar work backed by the slightly unhinged yet always solid Duff McKagan and Izzy Stradlin. They went on to record more records, eventually sputtering out into a long period of uncertainty, when the albumĀ Chinese Democracy was often promised but never delivered and the band seemingly fell apart (CDĀ eventually did come out in 2008). Guns N' Roses reunited with a mostly original lineup in 2015. While it's great to have GNR back, those early days are irreplaceable.
