From Ashes Rise are a hardcore band originally from Nashville, TN founded in 1997. The band moved to Portland, OR after releasing a few 7"es and an LP. They continued playing and eventually signed to Jade Tree where they went on to release another LP before breaking up in 2005. In 2010, they reunited and recorded another LP for Jade Tree and have remained sporadically active ever since. Along with their contemporaries, notably including Tragedy, From Ashes Rise play a style of hardcore that is somehow equally abrasive and melodic. This vintage From Ashes Rise shirt, in excellent condition with light wear, features a reference to the song "And We're Still Waiting" off their album Concrete In Steel.
