Death Threat are a hardcore band from Connecticut. They formed in 1997, a liminal time in the scene. They released their demo in 1998, which was heavy yet still had a groove. They went on to release several LPs and 7"s on various labels including Stillborn, Bridge 9, but it was their LPs on Triple Threat that became their most-loved work. Their sophomore album, 2000'sĀ Peace & Security, is a classic in the genre, but it's not like they stopped there. The band still plays to this day.
