Vintage Death "Scream Bloody Gore" T-Shirt
Chuck Schuldiner founded Death, the metal band, in 1983. The guitarist and singer started the Florida-based band after his old band, Mantas, broke up. They released their debut LPĀ Scream Bloody GoreĀ on Combat in 1987. This was arguably the first ever death metal release. The record was almost entirely played by Schuldiner, as he recorded the bass, guitars, and vocals. Death continued on until Schuldiner's death in 2001, releasing six more albums and basically changing the entire landscape of metal in that time. But, of course, it all started with that first album. This original Death shirt from 1992, heavily faded and nicely worn in, features the album art to their monumentalĀ debutĀ Scream Bloody Gore.Ā
