Danzig, the human, made many records before this, with The Misfits and Samhain, but his critically and commercially successful, eponymously named band was only formed in 1987 with longtime collaborators Chuck Biscuits on drums, Eerie Von on bass, and John Christ on guitar.Ā III, which featured album art by H.R.
