Congress were a straight edge hardcore band from Belgium founded in 1993. They were instrumental in the creation of H8000, the sound and the scene. The band put out an impressive amount of records during their decadeĀ together: four LPs, twoĀ EPs, and three splits.Ā They released almost all of their music with Good Life Recordings, who were responsible for putting out most of the H8000 bands. They played aĀ unrelenting heavy style with conscious lyrics that came to be the defining sound for basically an entire country for a generation. This original Congress shirt is deadstock in excellent condition.
