The World Cup is regularly one of the best sporting events anywhere. Countries battle it out for all the glory, to win the title of the best soccer (or football) team in the entire WORLD. Imagine that. In 2002, the World Cup was held in South Korea and Japan. Cameroon, a member of Group E that year, tied Ireland, defeated Saudi Arabia 1-0, but lost to Germany 2-0.
