Boss Film Studios, the visual effects company founded by former Industrial Light And Magic employee Richard Edlund, worked with David Fincher on Alien 3, the 1992 sci-fi film. The Alien franchise, on top of being beloved, was already known for their award-winning effects. So Boss had their work cut out for them. As expected, they rose to the occasion, doing post-production work for the movie that got another Academy Award nomination for Best Visual Effects. Sadly, Boss Film Studios shut down in 1997, but their work is still regarded as some of the best. This original Boss Film Studios from Alien 3, in great condition with light spots, is from the visual effects crew.
